Classic Facts

12,000 original miles... Original factory Saddle Tan Poly paint with Pristine original Fawn bench seat interior & door panels... Mint original condition...

Just arrived, this beautiful car is an excellent example of the iconic Corvair. First introduced in the 1960 model year, only four door sedans were produced fall 1959 until January 1960. This cute car is a low mile, D550 base level coupe from the last year of the Generation 1 Corvairs. One of the nicest original cars left.

Sold new to Oscar Burgess by Fairway Chevrolet Buick of Warrenton, Virginia on December 30, 1964. This lovely car remained with Oscar until transferred to his daughter in Maryland in 1974. The car remained a one family owned car for 35 years until sold to an avid Corvair collector in 2001 with 8,800 miles.

The car drives as it looks and is the most original example of the first generation Corvair Coupe we have had in eight years... It is obvious the careful care this car has has by all it's owners.
